About Susan
My name is Susan Butler. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I began making jewelry over 30 years ago when my two girls were babies. I had given up a successful career in financial analysis to stay home with them when, on a whim, I bought my first pair of jewelry pliers and a small strand of beads. From then on, I developed a real love (addiction, really) for making beautiful things.
My most recent artistic interest is in mosaic: making memories into mosaic art, teaching mosaics, and making jeweled art for your home.
I especially love working with repurposed materials including broken pottery, glass, buttons, jewelry and whatever else appeals to me and the spirit of the work.
